FLAT ROTATOR

Stack Routing

Redirect stacks without disrupting production flow

SERRA's Flat Rotator combines a rotating platform with chain conveyor transport to redirect corrugated stacks between production stations efficiently, reducing manual transfers and creating more flexible intralogistics.

Flexible routing

Circular movement redirects stacks toward different stations or conveyor sections from a single transfer point.

With or without pallets

Handle corrugated cardboard stacks both with and without pallets for greater flexibility between production processes.

Reduce manual transfers

Automated rotation and conveyor transfer reduce operator intervention and unnecessary material movement.

Easy integration

Connect the Flat Rotator with conveyors and other production equipment to create a more efficient material-handling layout.

How it works

Change direction from one transfer point

The Flat Rotator receives the load, positions it on the rotating chain conveyor and redirects it toward the required downstream process.

1

Stack arrival

The corrugated stack enters from the upstream conveyor or material-handling system.

2

Transfer & position

The chain conveyor transfers the stack onto the rotating platform and positions the load.

3

Rotate

Circular movement redirects the load according to the required production route.

4

Continue downstream

The chain conveyor releases the stack toward the selected production station or next conveyor.

Key features

Flexible control for changing routes and loads

Chain conveyor transport

Chain conveyor technology provides controlled transfer onto and away from the rotating platform.

Circular stack movement

Rotating movement redirects materials efficiently toward different conveyor stations or production points.

Adjustable direction

Conveyor direction can be adjusted according to the required production and intralogistics route.

Adjustable speed

Conveyor speed can be adapted to match the surrounding material flow and production requirements.

Pallet compatibility

Handle corrugated stacks with or without pallets within the same intralogistics concept.

Single-point control

Centralized control simplifies everyday operation and reduces the need for multiple operators.

Easy equipment integration

Integrate the rotator with conveyors and other machinery according to the required factory layout.

Low maintenance

Straightforward operation and minimal maintenance help reduce downtime and maximize equipment availability.

ROTATE
Directional routing

One transfer point. Multiple possible routes.

Circular movement lets corrugated stacks change direction between production areas without unnecessary manual transfers, adding routing flexibility to conveyor-based intralogistics.

Production performance

Simplify routing while keeping material moving

Improve material flow

Redirect stacks efficiently between different stations without adding unnecessary handling stages.

Reduce operator intervention

Automated rotation and transfer reduce repetitive manual movement of corrugated stacks.

Increase layout flexibility

Adjustable direction and equipment integration make it easier to connect production areas.

Maximize uptime

Minimal maintenance and quick, accurate job repetition help keep the system available for production.
